COVID-19 Update – May 4th, 2020 – Monday night
As I type “Monday night” in my daily update, boy do I wish for Monday Night Football even though it’s not football season yet. One of these days we will have our sports back.
We had no new positive results for COVID-19 reported today. Our positive COVID-19 cases in WW remain at 152. We cleared 4 individuals out of isolation bringing the total number of people cleared to 64. Even though we had no cases in 2 out of the last 3 days, it’s too early to relax. The towns around us continue to have positive cases. Unless we continue to follow the guidelines, we will slide backwards.
Today I would like to give a shout out to a West Windsor resident Michael Mc Mohan who was recently recognized by the Vietnam War Memorial. He is a National Park Service Volunteer and spends most of his time in DC volunteering at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. He is a member of the American Legion Post 76 and the St. David’s Knight of Columbus Council 14716. He is a big part of West Windsor’s Veteran’s day and Memorial Day celebrations. Michael and Dolores will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary on May 17th. Mr. Mc Mohan, thank you for your service.
Thanks to Rory Murphy for alerting me to the recognition by the Vietnam War Memorial. Click here for the link to the article.
Stay safe and enjoy a beautiful day tomorrow.
