The Department of Public Works (DPW) includes:
- Division of Facilities & Open Space
- Division of Sewer Maintenance
- Division of Streets & Roads
- The Division of Facilities & Open Space is responsible for: maintenance of parks, playgrounds, playing fields, municipal properties and open spaces. Snow removal is another important function of the division along with assisting with special projects and community events.
- The Division of Sewer Maintenance is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Township-owned sewer system which includes six (6) pumping stations. Snow removal is another important function of the division along with assisting with special projects and community events.
- The Division of Streets & Roads is responsible for general road and pothole repairs, street sweeping, roadside mowing, yard waste and white goods collection, and maintenance of DPW vehicles and equipment. Snow removal is another important function of the division along with assisting with special projects and community events.
Garbage & Recycling Collection:
There are two (2) separate contracts for residential garbage and recycling collection.
- Residential garbage collection is currently provided by Waste Management.

- Residential recycling collection is provided by the Mercer County Improvement Authority.
