Municipal Court Attendant- Part Time
The Township is seeking to hire a qualified individual to work under general direction of the Municipal Court Judge with duties that include providing first layer of protection for entire Court Staff and Judge by screening all individuals entering the court; inspecting and performing various safety and security checks of the municipal court building, including but not limited to ensuring various entrances and exits are properly secured and unoccupied; screening all individuals entering the Court facility; inspecting the metal detector and handheld wand to ensure it is functioning properly and performing necessary calibration; proving information on Court facility policies.
Salary: $25.12 - $30.00/hour
Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills and communication skills required. PTC certified (current or retired). Must have a minimum of ten years of law enforcement experience (retired) or must have eight years of experience with one employer and must possess a four-year degree from an accredited educational institution.

Engineer Technician - Community Development/Engineering- Full Time
The Township is seeking to fill an Engineer Technician position. Under the supervision of an engineer or other supervisor, assists in the performance of public infrastructure projects, including project definition, design, and coordination with consultants and contractors. Maintains Township GIS and CAD systems. Responsible for grant applications and permit compliance. Assist with design, bidding and award, and construction phases of municipal capital projects. Review and comment upon engineering aspects of residential and commercial land development applications for compliance with municipal codes. Review aspects of comments and testimony at Technical Review Committee and Planning Board meetings as required. Monitor construction phase of land development projects including inspections, punch lists, guarantee action recommendations.
Qualifications or Requirements: Two-year degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology program. Three years technical experience performing engineering support tasks in the planning, surveying, design, inspection, investigation, and/or maintenance of various types of engineering projects.
Salary Range: $64,820-$88,149

Senior Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to the Police Chief
The Township is seeking to fill a Senior Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to the Police Chief position in the Police Department. Under general direction, performs a variety of highly responsible, complex, and extremely confidential administrative and advanced clerical support duties primarily for and in support of the Police Chief. This position exercises initiative, judgment, and tact in responding to and dealing with other law enforcement agencies, members of the community, and public officials; exercises functional and technical supervision over clerical and administrative staff; leads the department Social Media Team; and performs related duties as required. Work may involve contracts management, purchasing, accounting, budget preparation, file management, grants administration, project management, general administration, public relations and employee supervision. Works with considerable independence within the scope of established laws, rules, regulations and procedures. Work requires the exercise of mature judgment and the application of a thorough knowledge of the department organization, programs, and goals. Work involves the complex use of computer applications such as Microsoft 365/Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, OneDrive and PowerPoint.
Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited college with a two-year degree in business administration, accounting or related field and 2 to 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of training and experience in administrative work, preferably governmental administration/finance, with knowledge of computerized accounting applications and spreadsheets

Plumbing Inspector- Full Time 2 positions open
The Township is seeking to fill 2 Plumbing Inspector positions. Under the general direction of the Plumbing Subcode Official, the Plumbing Inspector performs plumbing inspection work involved to enforce relevant public health laws within the jurisdiction. Inspects for conformance with the approved plans and the current adopted codes.
Salary Range: $73,451-$97,141
Qualifications: Possession of a valid HHS license as a Plumbing Inspector issued by the NJ DCA.

Electrical Inspector- Part Time- up to 29 hours per week
The Township is seeking to fill a part time Electrical Inspector position. Under the direction of the Electrical Subcode Official and the Construction Official, the Electrical Inspector reviews permit applications and/or inspects all structures for compliance with the Electrical Subcode in relationship to Construction Permits issued. 4/18/2023
Salary Range: $40.36-$53.37
Qualifications: Valid license as an Electrical Inspector of the appropriate level, High-rise and Hazardous (HHS) or Residential/Industrial and Commercial (RCS/ICS), issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Willing to attain the necessary education and testing to attain the HHS and sub-code licenses.

SEASONAL LABORERS
The Township is seeking individuals interested in seasonal employment in Department of Public Works to perform various types of manual labor relating to the upkeep & maintenance of Township property. Responsibilities include: mowing, pruning, roadside clean-up, leaf and brush collection. 4/18/23
