A number of people are interested in what is the state of “West Windsor community”? The number of cases & households in the past two weeks will give you that indication however you want to interpret it.

Like other parts of the state, country and the world we have seen an uptick in number of cases as weather has turned cold and activity has picked up. As you go about your daily life it’s important to follow precautions - wear a mask, maintain social distance and frequently wash your hands. Please isolate yourself and get tested if you are not feeling well.

Today’s picture is in honor of the upcoming 82nd anniversary of the “War of the World broadcast” that made Princeton Junction famous. It shows a man dressed up as an alien invader during the 50th anniversary celebration of the event in 1988.  Let me know if anyone recognizes the person. Thanks to Paul Ligeti of the West Windsor Historical society for providing the picture and giving me the idea. You can listen to the full one-hour original broadcast on the township website.

If you have not already voted, please vote by dropping your “Vote by mail” ballot in the ballot box outside the West Windsor Senior center in the municipal complex. This year, that is the best way to make sure your vote is counted.

Have a safe week ahead.
