COVID-19 Update – May 17th, 2020 - Sunday
We had one new COVID-19 positive case today, bringing the total number of cases to 165. Out of these, 86 individuals have been cleared from isolation. Testing is now open to everyone with or without symptoms.
Today I would like to give a shout out to the WW-P Education Foundation and their “Honor a teacher with a star” program.
The West Windsor-Plainsboro Education Foundation was started in 1995 by parents and community volunteers to support the WW-P school district through funding of grants for teachers, innovation programs, and strategic initiatives. They have funded over 300 classroom and school grants to date.
The “Honor a teacher with a star” initiative allows parents to offer thanks to an exceptional staff member in our school district. This year a teacher’s job has been even more challenging given they had to switch to remote learning on very short notice. This is our opportunity to express our appreciation to both the teachers and the WW-P Education Foundation.
