COVID-19 Update – May 15th, 2020 - TGIF
We had no new cases reported in WW today, keeping our total number of cases at 164, of which 86 individuals have recovered.
Tomorrow is the first day of West Windsor’s outdoor farmer’s market at the Vaughn Drive parking lot (same location as years past). With the help of our township health officer, they have worked out a safe procedure to operate the market. Please visit them to support local farmers.
Today was a reminder of how something that seemed so important only a few months ago looks insignificant and unexciting due to turn of events. Only a few months ago, we were all concerned with the increased traffic along Rt 1 and in West Windsor due to closure of the Alexander Road bridge. Both the county and the state finished their work and the bridge finally opened today to little fanfare. Today’s pictures, courtesy of Kristin Appelget, are of the newly rebuilt bridge.
On a personal note, I am posting my update a little early today because my wife and I plan to watch a movie after dinner tonight. Of course, the streaming services offer too many choices and we will spend more time arguing over what to watch than actually enjoying the movie. Wasn’t life much simpler when the TV had only one channel and there weren’t any options to argue over?
Enjoy a great weekend.
