COVID-19 Update – Saturday May 9th, 2020
We had only one new positive case reported today. This brings our total COVID-19 positive cases to 158, out of which 81 individuals have been cleared.
It was a cold but beautiful day today. I am glad Mr. Snow decided to stay north of us.
I would like to wish all mothers a very happy Mother’s Day. The quarantine has made your job even more difficult, adding additional tasks such as home schooling. I hope when the quarantine is lifted, you enjoy a proper Mother’s Day celebration.
In honor of all the mothers, today I am giving a shout out to my own “Aai” (mother in my language). If you wonder why I am always so positive, you can thank her for giving me all my best qualities. She celebrated her 87th birthday last week. Although she is not happy about me closing the senior center, she has kept herself busy. The quilts in the attached picture are only a small sample of what she has accomplished over this period.
