COVID-19 Update – May 1st, 2020 – Friday night

Just like yesterday we had only two positive test results returned today. This brings the total COVID-19 cases in WW to 148. The number of people who have recovered remains at 60.

The DPW has either reinstalled or will shortly reinstall tennis nets and pickle ball nets at most courts. We have kept the door permanently open so no one has to touch the door handle. These facilities are open for singles play only and one pair at a time. Using these facilities responsibly will allow us to slowly open other areas that are under our control.

I did reach out to the Governor’s office to allow people without symptoms to get tested. We should hopefully hear something soon. Testing more people will make it easier to get back to normal.

Today I would like to give a shout out to a very special West Windsor couple. Ruth and Michael Greschak celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary yesterday. Due to social distancing they could not throw a big party and I missed an opportunity to dance . Do you know anyone in West Windsor married longer than 71 years?

The weather is going to be beautiful this weekend. Enjoy our parks and recreation areas responsibly. Most important stay Safe.
