COVID-19 Update – April 19th, 2020 (Sunday evening)
Today, we had one new individual test positive for COVID-19 while 3 individuals were cleared. As of today, our total number of COVID-19 positive individuals in West Windsor stands at 105 of which 49 have been cleared. We continue our slow and steady march to the other side of this crisis.
A few days ago, I made the decision to keep West Windsor parks open for individual activities. At the time, a few people expressed concerns that this will lead to large gatherings from our town and neighboring communities. I am happy to say that those fears were unfounded. The police are doing a great job of keeping an eye on not only the parks but other locations in town. This is done both by in person drive throughs and use of drones. Here are some pictures of the community park. One of these days we are going to have these parks full of people as they should be on a beautiful day like today. Thanks to everyone for maintaining your physical distance while getting your exercise.
