TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Alexander Road, west of US-1, Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Project at D&R Canal State Park On or About November 11, 2021

“West Windsor Township has undertaken a Sewer Improvement Project with contractor EN-TECH Corp. to maintain a portion of the existing D&R Canal Sewer Interceptor on Alexander Road, west of US-1, in the area of Canal Road and D&R Canal State Park intersections with Alexander Road [map link]. EN-TECH will be performing cleaning and maintenance of this Township sanitary sewer line. As part of this project, EN-TECH will be using a trenchless lining system, which allows a new pipe to be installed inside the existing sanitary sewer line without extensive roadway excavation.

• Cleaning and televising of the sewer on Thursday 11/11/21, Friday 11/12/21 and Monday 11/15/21, between the hours of 7AM and 5PM.

• Relining work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday 11/16/21 7AM through Thursday 11/18/21 7AM (48 hours continuous due to the materials used).

Affected properties in the area of Alexander, Canal Road and Glenview Drive are encouraged to reduce their water use during these times.  Some odors associated with the relining process are normal and should be expected.

Traffic flow on Alexander Road will be maintained during work hours under an alternating traffic condition, under the direction of the Police. Delays are to be expected during work hours. Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route where possible.
