The Principal Assistant Assessor is a responsible, technical and administrative position involving working in the assessment of real property as determined by statutory duties under New Jersey Statutes R.S. 54:4-12; 54:4-23. The employee in this classification is responsible for the assessment of all residential real property in the Township. The work involves field auditing all residential property, completing a detailed check list of property descriptions, and applying proper evaluation formula to arrive at a total assessment value. Qualifications: Four (4) years of experience in assessing or appraising residential real property. College Graduate or a year-for-year basis of full –time experience in specialized appraisal or assessment may be substituted. Certified by the State of New Jersey as a qualified Assessor (CTA), as set forth in Section 1 of P.L. 1967, Chapter 44 (c. 54:1-35.25). Valid NJ Driver’s License. SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR West Windsor, NJ
The Summer Camp Counselor provides supervision of children during the camp program for the Division of Recreation and Parks. The camp counselor works with Head Counselor and Camp Director in planning camp program and special events. This individual is responsible for the supervision, leadership, guidance and physical safety of the entire camp, acquaints campers with rules, activities and daily schedule of the camp. This position requires additional duties related to the camp program at the request of the Head Counselor and Camp Director such as assisting in pool locker room, assisting special area instructors, etc., maintaining positive contact with the parents, representing the West Windsor Recreation Department in a mature and professional manner; assist in swimming program by serving as an alert aid when campers are swimming; consistently maintain a high degree of SAFETY on the playgrounds, fields, pools, buses, sidewalks, trips, etc. by active supervision and direction of campers.
