The West Windsor Senior Center was founded in 1979 and moved to its present facility in 1989. There is a large multi-purpose room equipped with two pool tables; a classroom/card room; computer room; kitchen and offices. The Lobby/Lounge, appointed with comfortable furniture and reading materials, provides a place for reading, relaxing and conversation with old and new friends.
The West Windsor Senior Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The activities and services of the Senior Center are available to West Windsor residents 55 years of age and older and their spouses. Parents of adult residents are also welcome to participate in the Center's activities.
The Senior Center is the focal point in the community for information, activities and services for the older adult and those who participate in their care. A calendar of activities is published monthly and mailed to everyone registered with the Senior Center. A newsletter accompanies the calendar with detailed information on events as well as items of interest to the older adult. The Center provides activities in the areas of health and fitness, education, recreation and hobbies. Day trips are scheduled throughout the year. Call (609) 799-9068 to register.
The Senior Center is a community access site for N.J. E.A.S.E. (New Jersey Easy Access Single Entry), a statewide program of information and assistance.
