West Windsor Township Receives $448,500 from Mercer County
West Windsor, N.J. -- West Windsor Township Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh announced today that the Township has received a grant in the amount of $448,500 from Mercer County as part of the Mercer at Play initiative.
The grant money will be used to develop the Township’s newest park, Duck Pond Park, located off of Meadow Road next to Princeton Presbyterian Church. Planned improvements include a fishing pond, walking/jogging paths, a picnic pavilion, playgrounds and court games.
Mayor Hsueh stated, “I am grateful to County Executive Brian Hughes for his generous support of this park project. We are delighted to be able to improve Duck Pond Park sooner than expected with this considerable infusion of funds. I know that the residents of West Windsor will enjoy the many passive and active components of the park which will become available shortly.”
