PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION – FEBRUARY 5, 2008

Presidential Primary Elections for delegates and alternates to national conventions of political parties shall be held in each presidential year. (Primary Elections for the General Election will still be held each year in June.)

 Only those voters who have declared themselves as Democrat or Republican may vote in the Presidential Primary Election. Newly registered voters or voters who have NEVER declared may “declare” on Election Day and then vote as a Democrat or Republican.

	Voter Declaration of Change of Party Affiliation   Declaration must be filed by December 17, 2007
	Voter Registration Application Last day to register to vote or change address for Presidential Primary: January 15, 2008
	Absentee Ballot Application Last day to apply for absentee ballot through the mail: January 29, 2008. Last day absentee ballot applications may be submitted in person in the County Clerk's Office, up until 3:00 p.m.: February 4,  2008
	Voting District Number and Polling Place Location
	Polling Place Hours for Presidential Primary Election: 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
