In order to enhance the competitive bidding process by broadening the population receiving notices, West Windsor Township now publishes items up for bid on this web site in addition to the traditional means of advertising bids.

West Windsor Senior Center Expansion Phase 1 – The work under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the contract documents. The work consists of the construction of one 400 square foot addition and one 3,200 square foot addition to an existing 6,000 square foot township Senior Center. The current senior center houses the township senior programs, which include activities, meetings and administrative functions. The addition will expand on the center’s activity spaces and will renovate portions of the existing building. The base bid includes the addition to and alteration of the existing West Windsor Senior Center as specified in the contract document drawings and specifications. The additions are wood framed, slab on grade, one story structures. Alterations of the existing building include partitions, a new bathroom, and finishes. |

Sidewalk Repair Program – The base bid for this project includes, but is not limited to, approximately 20,000 SF Concrete Sidewalk Repair located throughout the Township due to street tree damage. The Alternate Bid No. 1 for this project consists of an additional 8,000 SF Concrete Sidewalk Repair located throughout the Township due to street tree damage. The Alternate Bid No. 2 for this project consists of an additional 16,650 SF Concrete Sidewalk Repair located throughout the Township due to street tree damage. The Alternate Bid No. 3 for this project consists of 625 LF of Concrete Vertical Curb located throughout the Township, 10 LF of Belgian Block Curb and 745 SF of Concrete Apron Replacement located throughout the Township. |

Improvements to the Intersection of Vaughn Drive/Bear Brook Road & Alexander Road – the work under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the contract documents. The base bid will consist of the removal and replacement of crosswalk striping, the installation of signage and the removal and replacement of pedestrian signal assemblies. Quantities include but are not limited to the following: 64 sq. ft. of public sidewalk curb ramp detectable warnings, 800 linear ft. of removal of traffic stripes and markings, 4400 linear ft. of thermoplastic traffic stripes, removal of 50 pavement reflectors and castings, 130 two-way plowable bi-directional white pavement reflectors and castings, 22 sq. ft. of signs, eight (8) pedestrian signal assemblies, maintenance and protection of traffic, the implementation of a revised traffic signal timing schedule and traffic controller assembly turn-on. |
