Previously approved for 352 apartments on February 21, 2007, West Windsor Gardens proposes 342 apartments in 21 building of colonial architecture on 44.3 acres located south of Clarksville Road (aka County Route 638) at the intersection with Meadow Road.† They will include 273 market rate rental units each containing 2 bedrooms and 69 low/moderate income rental units containing 2 and 3 bedrooms.† Additionally 3 management units will be provided for rental display, superintendentís use and storage.† A recreational clubhouse, pool, tennis court, tot lots and a walking trail is also proposed.† In all, 852 parking spaces are being proposed, including garage and driveway spaces, where 856 spaces are required representing a di minimus exception from the requirements.† A variance is being sought for a window wall to window wall separation of 60.1 between buildings 1100 and 1200 where 75 feet is required.
